    Transforming Generations is a culturally-specific agency servicing Hmong and Southeast Asian victim/survivors of domestic violence/sexual assault as well as LGBTQ+ Hmong folks experiencing violence. Their programs include advocacy services such as court accompaniment, support with orders for protection/HRO’s, youth programs, LGBTQ+ focused programming, mental health/therapy, Hmong Men’s transformative program, and school-based advocacy.

    What does it mean to be trauma-informed?

    Our advocates understand the impact of trauma on adults and youth. Our staff, services and buildings prioritize physical, psychological and emotional safety and are space for victims/survivors to have a sense of control and feel empowered to make their own choices.
