Violence Intervention Project (VIP) serves victims of relationship and sexual violence in Northwest Minnesota.
All VIP services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL and open to people of all genders in Pennington, Kittson, Marshall, Red Lake and Roseau Counties. Specific services include temporary emergency shelter, 24-Hour Toll-Free crisis line – Anonymous calls accepted- 800-860-6667, safety planning, assistance with protection orders, advocate support during legal proceedings, a safe and confidential place for victim’s to share their story in private, support during a sexual assault exam at the emergency room, supervised visitation and safe exchanges (located in Thief River Falls), and assistance with transitional and/or permanent housing.
